A new project just dropped on our new website, and we wanted you to be the first to know. Allow us to introduce: Cape Higgon.
Nestled within nearly 200 acres of conserved land, this is the fifth project we’ve completed for the same family since 1998. Two gabled volumes—one public, one private—are linked by a glass entryway that floods the interior with light and frames views of the Vineyard Sound and Elizabeth Islands.
The client’s desire for “uncluttered, bright, and distinctive” guided every design choice. A casual yet refined palette– grounded by zinc countertops, unlacquered brass hardware, reclaimed bluestone, pine siding, and a copper roof – will age gracefully and develop a rich patina over time.
