Applicant information
When you submit an application for employment or provide information to a recruiting service, we collect your “basic contact information” as described above along with any education and/or professional information included in other application materials such as a cover letter, resume, and portfolio.

Activity & device information
When you use the South Mountain website or social media platforms association with South Mountain, we collect common analytical information such as pages views, time spent, searches, device, browser, demographic, location, IP address, etc. When you communicate with us via text, we collect information such as your phone number, carrier, and geolocation data.

Pseudonymized Browsing Information
We use third-party analytics tools such as Google Analytics to help us measure the performance of our web and social media presence. These tools collect pseudonymized browsing information that may include how often people visit our website/social media profiles, which pages they visit, and the source of the visit. This information is not sufficient to be attributed to you as an identified or identifiable person.

To process analytics data when you visit the website, third party analytics tools use various technologies, including cookies or similar technologies to identify your browser or computer device. Third parties providing these tools do not receive your email address, or other Personal Information through the use of cookies. How do we use your information?

To contact you about your project
South Mountain offers its Energy Technology clients the ability to receive SMS text messages about the status of their installation. By signing a contract for Energy Technology services, you are consenting to be contacted by SMS message. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop messaging by sending STOP and get more help by sending HELP. No mobile information will be shared with third parties.

To share news about our business and/or mission
If you’ve contacted us (via form, email, text, phone, etc), you will be automatically subscribed to our quarterly newsletter. Do we share of sell your information?

We don’t sell any information, and we rarely share it. The only exception are:

Software vendors
For example, vendors like Mailchimp who automate email marketing and Zoom, who automate our text messaging.
