Affordable Housing Collaborations

Four houses, completed in 2019, in partnership with Island Housing Trust and Cape Light Compact. The net-zero design achieved LEED platinum certification. Residents have enhanced the neighborhood with a communal playground, a vegetable garden, and a variety of landscape improvements.

Designs for one, two, and three-bedroom houses, commissioned in 2010 by affordable housing advocate Madeline Blakely. We offer the plans for free to qualified homeowners and housing organizations. Inquire at info@southmountain.com.

A pocket neighborhood of 8 single-family houses within a 3.5-acre building envelope on 8-acres in West Tisbury, completed in 2019 in partnership with Island Housing Trust and Cape Light Compact.These eco-friendly houses were designed with high performance building standards, and Cape Light Compact funded solar electric systems. These LEED platinum certified houses approach net-zero energy.
